He has developed and implemented successful safety programs, security management systems, and CPTED solutions, and achieved significant cost reductions in WCB premiums and software expenses. Mr. Soto also has experience leading corporate pandemic response planning and execution for a major Canadian property owner and developer. Mr. Soto provides strategic health, safety, and security consulting services to developers, contractors, and property-owners in construction, commercial real estate, and municipal sectors. His approach combines industrial-level safety rigor with practical, tailored solutions for clients. Mr. Soto has been nationally recognized as one of OHS Canada’s Top 25 Under 40 in 2024 and has received BOMA Edmonton’s Emerging Leader Award
Mr. Soto has gained extensive experience in the heavy industrial construction industry managing health and safety programs on large scale multi-billion-dollar oil sands and industrial projects. His experience includes oversight of large and complex workforces, conducting job hazard analyses, implementing HSE management systems, leading investigations into high-potential and serious incidents, and collaborating with project executives to ensure regulatory compliance and worker safety. His industrial background gives him a strong foundation in managing safety and risk on projects where the risks are high, the operations are complex, and the margin for error is narrow.
